Sewerage Network In Seaview Gardens Repaired

The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) is advising that the damage to the main sewerage network traversing Seaview Gardens has been fully repaired.

The Agency will now turn its focus to ensuring that Central Wastewater Treatment Company Limited (CWTC), the operators of the system and the National Water Commission (NWC) collect and remove residual waste and debris in the affected area. This will be followed by a complete remediation of the site.

The public is being reminded to stay away from the area, until the clean-up activities are completed.
