Boston Bay Beach Closed For Refurbishment

The Natural Resources Conservation Authority (NRCA) has authorized the closure of the Boston Bay Beach in Portland with immediate effect.

The closure comes as the NRCA, under whose control the beach is operated, moves to refurbish the beach. The Authority apologizes for any inconvenience the closure may cause and is committed to complete work on the property by the end of May 2014.

The NRCA notes that the beach should not be used under any circumstance until the refurbishment is completed.

Appropriate notices will be erected on the property to advise the public.
