The Braco beach is a public fishing beach located 2km from the Braco main road, and consists of heavy vegetated landscape whit small clusters of sea grapes dotting the coastline. There is also coral reefs located northeast off shore of the property; the most distinct environmental feature on the property is the presence of the Braco’s river mouth which empties on the beach. The surrounding area is currently occupied by fishermen with a fishing gear sheds constructed by the Fisheries Improvement Programme, along with a washroom facility, and a pedestal base for a water tan; however, these structures were damaged and the gear shed being used as the home for two fishermen. The natural sediment on the Orange Bay beach contains fine to medium white sand with a gentle slope. There is no garbage collection mechanism in place on the beach.
Braco Beach is just under a mile from the North Coast highway and lies along the main road.
