Pagee Beach, also called Frontier, is located in Port Maria, St. Mary. It is located 22 minutes from Ian Fleming International Airport.
The beach consists of fine white sand and is approximately 1,000 metres long. The backshore vegetation includes West Indian almond, coconut, beach spider lily, and coastal grasses. Sections of the beach towards the town are separated from the main road by a cut stone seawall. The recreational beach is to the west and the fishing beach is to the east. Two concrete drains extend approximately 50 metres into the sea.
The beach is easily accessible as it is located along the main road, Tucker Circle. Parking is available along the length of the beach.
Pagee Beach has benches and tables to accommodate dining and fish gear storage. However, there are no food services. The beach is also fit for strolling.
The beach is suitable for swimming, dining, and land-based sports such as volleyball and football. Beachgoers may opt to explore the interiors of the parish for unspoilt treasures such as Tacky Falls and Kwame waterfalls.
