Rio Nuevo

Rio Nuevo is located in Rio Nuevo, St. Mary. It is located less than ten minutes from Ian Fleming International Airport and approximately 15 minutes from Ocho Rios.
Description & Environmental Features
The beach comprises fine grey sand mixed with cobblestones and is mildly eroded. The backshore is vegetated with susumba, West Indian almond, palm and coastal grasses. It is divided by use, with recreation to the west and fishing to the east.
Accessibility and Parking
The beach is located from the main road, A3. There is no designated parking, but a few vehicles can be accommodated along the main road.
Amenities
There are no food services.
Things to do
Patrons can enjoy swimming and strolling. Patrons can visit nearby attractions such as Rio Nuevo Rafting and Great House, Yaaman Adventure Park, Mystic Mountain Jamaica Adventure, Dolphin Cove Ocho Rios and Konoko Falls.
