NEPA to take further action against the Proprietors of Darlington Court

October 25, 2011

The National Environment and Planning Agency (NEPA) will be taking further enforcement action against the Proprietors of Strata 935 (Darlington Court) for the release of improperly treated sewage.

This follows a Warning Notice served on Wednesday, September 14, 2011 after NEPA investigators confirmed that sewage from a malfunctioning sewage treatment facility (STF) was entering the environment from the apartment complex.

The Warning Notice gave the proprietors of the Strata Thirty (30) days to correct the problem. They have failed to comply with the terms of the terms of the Notice and this has necessitated further action.
